Dessert and Salad
These past weeks, we have been practicing cooking using the same sauces to establish a standard for our food taste. This is the reason why we are lacking of new pictures to show except for the ones here. We had a dessert made from soy ice-cream, tapioca and palm sugar syrup. We also had a sweet salad with grounded deep-fried wanton skin, deep-fried mung bean noodle threads, soy sauce, palm sugar and Kinta special chili sauce.
Phan just had her birthday yesterday. I gave her blue flowers, a singing balloon and fruit pie. I am too poor now to buy her the new Xbox, so she takes a raincheck haha.
Btw, Phan and I also like to wish BabyBokChoi's husband and Fish Fish a very happy birthday too.

Happy belated birthday Phan!
Ooh i'd like to try the ice cream! But not so sure abt the sweet salad hehe... as for xbox... i tink even got money also hard to buy... it's going on ebay for about twice the retail price cos microsoft could only make so many consoles.

Thank you for the birthday wish. I am more afraid to celebrate birthdays when I am older now. Haha. We had other people tested the ice cream and they seem to like it alot. They said it was something different from the usual vanilla. The salad is mildly sweetened. It tastes just like the sweet soy sauce that some part of Asia likes to have with their fried noodle or fried carrot cake. I too have not acquired the sweet tooth for other dishes except for desserts, sweets and juices. I heard the xbox price has since doubled. Yup very expensive. I like the graphic very much. It is sharp and the colors are vibrant.

Thank you for the birthday wish. I am more afraid to celebrate birthdays when I am older now. When you come to Portland, we treat you ice-cream but i think with all the snow and cold temperature that you are having in your area, ice-cream must be far from your mind hehe.

Yeah it is. Just like cendol hehe except we replace the green cendol with tapioca and ice-cream.

Actually the singing balloon is not as enjoyable as seeing Dennis holding the singing balloon and dancing around Chaplin style. Darn, should have taken a picture. hehe.
